Coaching
The approach
What I love about coaching is what happens when I am completely present with someone. That presence and attunement creates an opening. Something gets seen in a way it has never been seen before, an old thought pattern gives way, a belief that has been running the show for twenty years finally comes apart and makes room for who the person actually is now. I have been on the other side of that many times. There is nothing more satisfying to me than watching it happen for someone else.
And the shifts never stay contained. An unlock in one place moves through a whole life: the career, the relationship, the parenting, the friendships, the people who get to be around a person who is no longer running on an old story. That is the part that keeps me in this work.
I coach from my heart, fully present, still enough to hear what is underneath what is being said. From that place I can offer real feedback, ask the question that lands, bring kindness, and put my analytical mind to work in a way I never could when I was operating from anywhere else.
How we partner
One. We find what’s really present.
We start with what brought you here and what you want on the other side of it. Sometimes that's a problem. Sometimes it's a dream you haven't said out loud to anyone yet. Either way, what you name first is rarely the whole of it, so we take the time to get underneath it. That way we're working on the thing that actually matters rather than the thing that was easiest to say.
Two. We go looking for the truth.
This is the deep part. I hold the space and we explore, using whatever the moment calls for: a framework when structure helps, somatic practice when the body knows before the mind does, emotional work when the thread runs that way. We follow the threads until they unravel. What you find here is yours, and it is usually not what either of us expected walking in.
Three. We rebuild on solid ground.
Insight that stays in the session is not worth much. We turn what you found into plans and experiments, then design the career, the relationship, the life you want. Your dreams and your practical reality get equal weight in this, because a plan that ignores either one falls apart. This is where the work becomes a life you are actually living.
